IMF postpones talks with Pakistan

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has postponed talks in Pakistan due to security concerns after killing of Osama.
According to IMF spokesperson, a team of the IMF was scheduled to arrive in Pakistan this week, has cancelled its tour on account of security reasons after the death of Osama Bin Laden.
According to media reports, the visit of the IMF team to Pakistan is very important as far as to finalize things for the coming budget in June and to release of the sixth tranche.
The talks now were likely to be held in Dubai, it added.
Officials of the IMF, World Bank, ADB and USAID offices in Islamabad have also been asked to cancel their engagements with government officials.
According to the World Bank, cancelation of tours will not affect the aid for flood victims and other development projects.
